Many law students write papers of publishable quality during their law school tenure. However, most students do not know how to go about publishing these papers. Most law reviews do not accept submissions from students outside of their staff or institution. Therefore, it's important to research your options before submitting your work.

The authors provide suggestions for publishing and list the policies of 194 law reviews "with respect to whether they will publish comments submitted by non-law review members who are students at their home school or notes, comments or articles submitted by law students from other schools."
