Staying current with legal information is important, but it may seem like a daunting task. However, it is really easy to do with an e-alert service. These services send you emails to let you know about changes in the law. You can receive alerts on a particular area of law using BNA, or create even more specific alerts with LexisNexis and Westlaw. Faculty members, research assistants, and students enrolled in seminars may find these alerts particularly beneficial.
Commonly used e-alert services are LexisNexis, Westlaw, and BNA.
